Bean orzełek

It is a one-of-a-kind plant with a very rich history and unusual appearance. It is one of the favorite ingredients of supporters of old Polish, patriotic cuisine. It is on the list of traditional products of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. It is called the Polish bean with an eagle, and even the bean of independence. This type of colored beans works very well in salads and stews, served with goose or red wine. Orzełek beans are a rich source of easily assimilated protein, which is why they successfully replace meat in many vegetarian dishes, but beans will also work well in traditional cuisine.
